Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?
Mystery … intrigue … fellowship!
The Body Life Committee invites the congregation to participate in our first-ever
Covert Dinner event on Saturday, April 27. What is that, you ask? Just imagine at-tending a dinner, but without knowing ahead of time who you’ll be dining with
Here’s how it works:
1. Sign up in either church building, and indicate whether you would like to be a guest, or if you’re willing to be a host.
2. Hosts are responsible for opening their home, and providing the main course and beverages. Guests will each be assigned to bring food to their host’s home in one of three categories: side dish, salad and bread, or dessert. (All food prepared should be enough for 8 people).
3. Guests will not know where they are going for dinner, and hosts will not know who is coming over for dinner until the night of the event! (Each participant will re-ceive an envelope with all necessary information to be opened only on the night).
4. Dinners will begin at 5:00 p.m. and conclude by approximately 7:30 p.m.
5. This is an adults-only event (college students and older).
6. Childcare will be provided (including dinner and activities) for those who need it. (Please indicate your needs on the sign-up sheet).
7. Deadline to sign up is Lord’s Day, April 14.
In addition to having fun, we hope this event helps to foster deeper, more inten-tional fellowship among our church members. We strongly encourage you to par-ticipate. And because this type of evening takes a bit more planning and coordi-nation ahead of time, please be sure to sign up by the deadline. We hope to see you for dinner!
